How much do hearing aids cost for pensioners at Underwood?
Privately, hearing aids typically range from around $1,000 to $5,000 per device, with premium models using AI and deep neural network (DNN) sound processing, which recognises speech and reduces background noise automatically. But eligible Pensioner Concession Card holders, DVA Gold Card holders and DVA White Card holders (for hearing conditions) receive fully subsidised hearing aids at no cost under the Australian Government Hearing Services Program (HSP) — and Brighter Ears is a registered HSP provider, so we complete the paperwork in clinic.
